Morocco’s youth boxing team will participate in the upcoming IBA Youth World Boxing Championships, taking place from October 20 to November 4 in Budva, Montenegro, the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation (FRMB) announced on Thursday.
The Moroccan delegation will field nine male boxers across various weight divisions, including Othmane Chadgour (48 kg), Abdelali Boudnguit (51 kg), Farhane Mohamed Jamai (54 kg), Saiffeddine Chakli (57 kg), Hamamouch Salaheddine (60 kg), Adam Choukri (63 kg), Yasser Barchami (67 kg), Mohamed Amine Harnoune (71 kg), and Ilias Kariba (75 kg).
In the women’s competition, Morocco will be represented by Yasmine Annabi (48 kg), Farah Abdeljawad (50 kg), Amira Dinghair (52 kg), Jihan Mokhtari (54 kg), Dahrir Douaa (57 kg), Safaa Zoubaa (60 kg), Khadija Barkach (63 kg), and Niaama Bouslam (66 kg).
The FRMB noted that several newcomers have been included in the squad as part of the federation’s long-term development program, aimed at nurturing young talent and boosting their performance at international competitions.
