XA Services Maroc (ASM) has recently inaugurated its new site in Kenitra, marking an important step in the development of its activities in Morocco.

The launch of this new site aligns with multiple objectives set by ASM, including enriching ASM’s talent pool through the recruitment of local talent and improving the quality of life of Kenitra employees by reducing their commute time.

The site launch also supports ASM’s ecological commitments, particularly by contributing to the reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. To this end, the site is equipped with photovoltaic panels allowing for a 20% reduction in energy consumption.

The inauguration of the new site was preceded by the opening of a recruitment agency and a training center aimed at optimizing the recruitment and training process for future employees, thus facilitating their integration into the new site.

AXA Services Maroc aims to offer career opportunities and plans to recruit more than 1400 employees over the 2024-2026 period, across its various sites, illustrating its commitment to sustainable development and operational excellence.

“Today we are inaugurating the AXA Services Maroc site in Kenitra. This opening confirms the trust of the largest companies in the Moroccan platform, particularly the AXA group through a sustainable and quality partnership. Numerous efforts are being made to support operators in developing engineering in Morocco and we will continue to work towards consolidating this ecosystem, a major contributor to industrial added value as well as job creation,” Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Industry and Trade, said.

In the same vein, Ghita Mezzour, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, emphasized that “this initiative will contribute to sustainable socio-economic development in the region, opening new growth opportunities and, above all, promoting job creation.”

“To achieve this, it is essential to harness the potential of young Moroccan talents by offering them training opportunities and access to the technologies necessary to be competitive on an international scale. In this sense, and in accordance with the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, who has emphasized the importance of youth in the new development model, the national strategy “Digital Morocco 2030″, which will be launched soon, pays particular attention to training a new generation of specialists in the fields of digital and information technologies.” She underlined.

She added that “it should be noted that today, Morocco has risen to the rank of 2nd outsourcing destination in Africa and 28th worldwide. This dynamic demonstrates our commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in this key sector, thus creating opportunities for growth and jobs,” she added.

Guillaume Borie, CEO of AXA France and member of the Group Management Committee, stated for his part that “it is with great pride that I participate today in the inauguration of ASM’s new site in Kenitra, a project that symbolizes AXA’s ongoing commitment to Morocco and marks a crucial step in the development of our operations in the Kingdom. This site, equipped with modern and eco-responsible infrastructure, not only allows us to support our growth, but also to accompany local talents in an innovative work environment. We are proud to contribute to an inclusive dynamic, where social and environmental impact is at the heart of our priorities.”

“The Kenitra site marks a key step in our development strategy in Morocco. By strengthening our presence in this region, we are realizing AXA Services Maroc’s ambition to support local economic dynamics, while creating more than 1400 new jobs by 2026. This project embodies our commitment to integrating local talent, encouraging innovation in IT services, and strengthening our social responsibility, with a particular focus on inclusion and ecological transition. We are determined to play an active role in Morocco’s sustainable development,” stressed Thierry Goument, CEO of AXA Services Maroc.

The choice of the city of Kenitra for this expansion is based on several factors, such as the quality of local higher education, the attractive job market, and the favorable competitive environment. The central location will improve access to local services, promoting a better balance between professional and personal life for employees.

With this new inauguration, AXA Services Maroc confirms its commitment to actively contribute to the economic and social development of Kenitra and the surrounding region.
