In M’diq on Tuesday, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the Cherifian Phosphates Office (OCP) Group, and private partners signed a strategic partnership agreement to establish the National Football Training Fund.
This initiative aims to professionalize training centers and foster young football talent across Morocco.
The agreement aligns with the Royal High Directives on football, which emphasize transparent governance and investment in infrastructure and human capital. The collaboration will pool resources and expertise to enhance training facilities nationwide, equipping them with modern infrastructure and advanced technical support.
OCP Group Chairman and CEO Mostafa Terrab praised the FRMF’s recent successes and expressed pride in the new partnership. “It is precisely when successes are achieved that the Federation thinks about the future,” Terrab said.

FRMF President Fouzi Lekjaa highlighted that the agreement reflects King Mohammed VI’s vision for advancing national sports. He explained that the fund aims to provide young players across the Kingdom with professional training opportunities, helping them to realize their potential and elevate Moroccan football on the international stage.
The National Football Training Fund will operate under a business model focused on developing top-level players and integrating them into professional clubs. Managed by a specialized S.A. and overseen by the FRMF’s National Technical Department, the fund seeks to establish a new standard for training excellence and player development.
In addition to improving football skills, the training centers are expected to promote football inclusion, cohesion, and the overall well-being of youth, contributing to the broader goals of youth and sports development in Morocco.
