Moroccan supporters packed Marseille’s Vélodrome stadium on Monday, attending the Atlas Lions Olympics semifinal match against Spain in droves.
A source from the Vélodrome confirmed to Hesport that attendance was close to 67,000 fans, with 98 percent being Moroccan supporters, compared to just a few dozen Spanish fans.
Moroccan fans began packing the Velodrome starting midday, and continued to cheer for the Atlas Lions once inside.
Notably, Moroccan fans managed to score tickets despite the high ticket prices in the black market, with many buying tickets despite their inflated costs.
