Real Bétis have no intention of letting Abdessamad Ezzalzouli go any time soon.

The Spanish club has called up the Moroccan international to take part in the training camp in preparation for next season in Austria. The Atlas Lion flew out with his team on Wednesday, July 11, delaying his arrival for preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics with Morocco U23.

Betis have announced their list for the camp in Austria, which runs from July 10 to 20, and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli is on it. The 22-year-old is currently scheduled to be with the Moroccan Olympic team in preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11.

Ezzalzouli will delay his integration into the national team, which is preparing for this tournament at the Mohammed VI Center in Maâmoura.

The team will shortly travel to Lyon, France, for a training camp, before heading to Saint-Etienne to face Argentina on July 24. This could pose a problem for national coach Tarik Sektioui, who is counting heavily on the player.

Many European clubs have refused to release their players to take part in this major sporting event, such as Ayman El Wafi of Lugano in Switzerland, who was forced to withdraw and was replaced by Adel Tahaïf of the Berkane Renaissance.
