Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch expressed his deep sorrow upon receiving the news of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, the wife of the late King Hassan II and mother of King Mohammed VI.
In a heartfelt message on his official Facebook account, he conveyed, “With great sorrow, I received the news of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, the wife of the late King Hassan II, may he rest in peace, and the mother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and protect him, who answered her Lord’s call peacefully and willingly.”
In his message, Akhannouch extended his deepest condolences to King Mohammed VI, the royal princes and princesses, the entire royal family, and the Moroccan people.
He added, “I pray to Almighty God to envelop the noble deceased in His vast mercy and generous forgiveness and to grant her a place in His spacious paradise. I also pray for the long life of our esteemed leader, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him and perpetuate his glory and victory. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
