Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, arrived in Amman today to represent King Mohammed VI at a High-Level International Conference on the Emergency Humanitarian Response in Gaza.
The conference, organized by Jordan, Egypt and the United Nations, under the slogan “Call to Action: Urgent Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza,” aims to identify ways to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip.
The conference will see the presence of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, leaders of states and heads of government of more than 75 countries, and representatives of humanitarian organizations and international financial institutions.
