The International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor is seeking an arrest warrant against Netanyahu for Gaza “war crimes.”
The charges against the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Israel’s defense minister, Yoav Gallant, include “causing extermination, causing starvation as a method of war, including the denial of humanitarian relief supplies, deliberately targeting civilians in conflict,” Karim Khan tells CNN.
A panel of ICC judges is currently considering Chief Prosecutor Khan’s application for the warrant, in addition to seeking similar warrants against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Al Qassem Brigades Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri, Hamas’ political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
