Moroccan singer Rym Fikri has taken legal action against members of her late husband’s family, accusing them of defamation, insults, and false accusations. This follows a series of damaging claims made against her after her husband’s death in February.

According to sources, Rym chose to remain silent and respect her late husband’s memory despite the barrage of accusations directed at her on social media. She waited until her husband’s body was recovered before filing the lawsuit.

Represented by her lawyer, Mourad Alajouti, Fekri is pursuing charges of defamation and the dissemination of false information. The lawsuit seeks to address the harm done to her reputation under both criminal and press laws.

Rym also plans to seek financial compensation for the professional setbacks caused by the smear campaign. The negative publicity has led to the cancellation of several business contracts and endorsement deals, significantly impacting her career.
