Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri concluded his final training session with Sevilla before heading to Morocco to begin training for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Spanish newspaper Marca revealed that Sevilla’s attempts to delay En-Nesyri’s departure to ensure his participation in the upcoming match against Atletico Madrid on Thursday were unsuccessful. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation did not respond to Sevilla’s correspondence.

Several European clubs sought to delay the departure of their Moroccan players to the national team’s camp, including Real Betis with Abdessamad Ezzalzouli and Chadi Riad, Valencia with Salim Amallah, and Paris Saint-Germain with Achraf Hakimi.

National coach Walid Regragui emphasized the importance of players joining the national camp from the first day to ensure systematic preparations according to the pre-established schedule.
