Honda is recalling 2.54 million vehicles in the United States due to fuel pump defects, which can cause engines to malfunction, increasing accident risks.
The recall affects certain 2018 and 2019 Honda Pilot SUVs, as well as 2017 and 2019 Odyssey vans and Ridgeline pickups.
Certain 2015 to 2020 Acura TLX models and certain 2016 to 2020 Acura MDX SUVs are also affected.
The automaker previously recalled 628,000 US vehicles in 2021 and 136,000 in 2020 for the same issue.
Honda says it has received 1,450 warranty claims due to the problem, but no information on injuries.
