Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Moulay Rachid performed a rain prayer this Friday, alongside citizens in the capital Rabat.
Processions of worshipers set off in the direction of mosques across the country, as is the custom of Moroccans whenever rainfall is scarce and people and livestock need rain.
The Rabat procession of worshipers, led by children who had memorized the Quran carrying Quranic tablets, in the presence of the Crown Prince, set off from Bab Chellah towards the inner Old City, where the rain prayer was held.
