The Israeli army cautioned Gaza residents against returning to the northern parts during the ongoing humanitarian pause, which came into effect early this morning.
“To the residents of the Gaza Strip, the war has not ended yet, the humanitarian pause is temporary, and the northern region of Gaza is a war zone,” the IDF warned in leaflets dropped in Southern Gaza, widely shared on social media.
“Returning back to the north is forbidden and dangerous, your destiny and your family’s destiny are in your hands,” the leaflet added.
The IDF clarified that movement is only allowed to the south through the Salahuddin road on the eastern side of Gaza.
