Burger King is set to face a lawsuit claiming that its Whopper burger is deceptively portrayed as larger on menus than its actual size, according to a recent decision by a US judge.

The lawsuit alleges that the fast-food giant misleads clients by displaying the burger with a more substantial patty and overflowing ingredients.

Burger King countered these claims, telling the BBC that “the plaintiffs’ claims are false,”.

The lawsuit asserts that the Whopper appears 35% larger on mennues, containing double the actual meat amount served.

While Burger King claimed that delivering burgers that look identical to the advertised pictures was not required, a US judge said that it should be left to jurors to “tell us what reasonable people think”.
