The eighth edition of Hassan II World Grand Prix for Water will take place on May 18, 2024 in Bali, Indonesia, under the theme “Security of water resources for food sovereignty and shared prosperity,” according to the Ministry of Equipment and Water.
This edition aims to discuss issues surrounding groundwater resource management for the conservation of ecosystems, the preservation of water quality and availability with regards to food production, and promotion and implementation of sustainable groundwater resource management.
The edition will include solutions to solve water security through technology, innovations, and investments, in a setting of rising water resource scarcity. These strategies include minimizing food waste, encouraging sustainable diets, and raising awareness.
