The Moroccan Association of English Teachers (MATE) and the Yool Education platform are hosting a study day to promote the use of digital technologies in English learning and teaching.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Training’s offices in the city of lights.
The study day is a collaborative effort between MATE and Yool Education to promote the use of digital technologies in the field of English education in Morocco, as it will bring together educators, trainers, educational technology professionals, and decision-makers from the education sector to debate the most recent trends and innovative methods in this field.
Participants will be able to attend inspiring meetings and interactive presentations led by renowned experts in the education and technology sectors on topics such as the use of online platforms, mobile apps, digital resources, and communication tools to optimize English learning and teaching on this day.
“Distance education platforms, in addition to offering quality training accessible to all territories, can also contribute to the training of the necessary human resources,” says Alia Benomar, General Manager of the Yool Education platform.
MATE and Yool Education are devoted to increasing the use of digital technology in education, particularly for English learning in locations where teachers may be in limited supply.
MATE is a professional organization founded in 1979 that brings together teachers and trainers of English in Morocco.
It aims to promote the teaching of English and strengthen the language skills of teachers through training, workshops, and conferences.
Yool Education, on the other hand, is a Moroccan EdTech platform that specializes in Live Online Learning. It provides a comprehensive catalog that covers school, university, trades, exams/competitions, soft skills, and languages.
Thus, regardless of where they live, all learners will be able to explore new ways of learning and benefit from the experience of a highly competent faculty chosen from among the finest of their profession.
“This study day aims to raise awareness among teachers and decision-makers in the sector of the opportunities and advantages of digital technology in the teaching of English”, declared Abdellah Yousfi, President of the MATE association.
