Visa for Music 2023 will host the 40th general session of the International Music Council (IMC), which will run from November 22 to November 25 in Rabat.

The IMC assembly will be the first in-person gathering since 2019, and there will be about 100 attendees from four different continents for the three days of talks and meetings, according to La Vérité.

During the VFM 2023 opening ceremony, the IMC will present the Music Rights Awards, co-produce an artistic exhibition, and plan conference-debates with IMC stakeholders.

Delegates from IMC will take part in speed meetings, networking events, and hold a collective IMC stand so that VFM attendees may learn more about the council.

IMC is the largest global network of music organizations and institutions that was established by UNESCO in 1949 as a consultative body with the goal of improving universal access to fundamental music rights.
