Lionel Messi’s father and manager Jorge Messi denied reports of his son agreeing to a lucrative deal to move to a Saudi club next year.
“There’s absolutely nothing agreed with any club for next season,” Jorge Messi said, adding that “nothing is signed, agreed or verbally agreed. Only fake news using Leo’s name.”
Reports that Messi signed a deal to play in Saudi Arabia next season have been circulating, after a Saudi source close to the negotiations told AFP that the deal was agreed on lucrative terms.
