Snapchat has made its customizable chatbot, My AI, available to all users on the app, as announced on Wednesday. This feature, which is powered by the popular AI chatbot ChatGPT, was previously exclusive to paying subscribers of Snapchat+.
According to the company, My AI provides users with recommendations, answers to their questions, and recommends filters to use in Snapchat’s camera or places to visit from the app’s map location service.
Users can engage with the chatbot in conversations with friends by mentioning it with “@MyAI”. Additionally, users can give My AI a unique name and design a personalized Bitmoji avatar to make it more personal.
