Local authorities in the Azilal region in Morocco reported that the bodies of two people were found buried under soil, following the collapse of the “Teknant” cave.
According to Hespress AR sources, authorities received a notification from a person stating that two of his companions had fallen in the aforementioned cave, where all authorities and interests mobilized for immediate intervention, to take necessary measures to save both individuals, who were found dead under the rubble.
According to preliminary data, the two deceased were inside the aforementioned cave as part of a group of seven people before the collapse of the fragile cave, in search for precious metals.
An investigation is currently open into the accident.
