The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), scheduled to take place in Côte d’Ivoire, will be held from January 13 to February 11, 2024, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Thursday.

The opening match will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, CAF said in a statement.

The four-week tournament will officially end on February 11, 2024, the same source added.

The official draw for this CAN will take place next September, said the statement, adding that the date and venue will be confirmed in due course.
