The head of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat David Govrin will soon resume his duties in Rabat, according to Israeli media.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs intends to send the diplomat to Morocco again, after the closure of the investigation of the Public Service Commission regarding sexual harassment accusations against the official.
The former Israeli ambassador to Egypt is expected to return to Morocco in a few months, state Israeli media reports.
Govrin had been the subject of accusations of sexual harassment, sexual assault and alleged irregular decision making within the liaison office.
In his defence, Govrin claimed that the matter was more a dispute between himself and a security officer at the mission, and describes the accusations as “fabricated.”
