Since it debuted in January 2017 seven years ago, the Moroccan comedic talent discovery program “Stand Up” has witnessed its highest watching ratings this season.

Data from the expert center for assessing audience rates “Ciaumed” showed that the program, which usually airs every Saturday on Al Aoula channel, received almost 40 million viewers, not including reruns.

The viewership rating went up by 3% compared to the sixth season, which was watched by more than 39 million viewers, and the fifth season, which was watched by about 34 million viewers.

The seventh season of the program has been present in the list of the five most-watched Al Aoula programs every week since it first aired.

This increase during the last two seasons can be explained by the various changes made on artistic and technical levels.

Stand Up’s YouTube channel has around 245 million views as well as about a million followers.

The comedy show’s jury is Latifa Ahrar, an established actress that recently became the director of the higher institute of dramatic arts and cultural animation, as well as Nora Skalli, an actress and scriptwriter, and the famous comedian Mohammed El Khyari.
