The dramatic series “Triq El Ward,” which airs on 2M channel on Thursdays at 9:25 p.m., will continue to tell the tale of a young woman who lives in the country between tradition and modernization every Thursday during Ramadan at 10:00 p.m.
Launched on March 2, the series consists of 15 30-minute episodes.
With around 5 million viewers and a 37% audience share of 2M’s ratings, it attracted very good audiences and was produced by Ali’n Productions, Morocco’s top production company headed by Nabil Ayouch.
Triq El Ward, which averages 4.5 to 5 million viewers per episode, is drawing more and more families and turning into a major sensation.
Between 1.5 and 2 million YouTube views for each episode are also added to these numbers, enabling each to debut at the top of the Moroccan Youtube trend.
The series, created and written by Rita El Quessar and Younes El Araby, and directed by Hicham El Jebbari, tells the tale of Yasmine, a young woman who lives in the country between tradition and modernity and is portrayed by influencer Sabah Benchouikh.
The core of this tale, in which Yasmine must accept her fate, is one of love, deception, and lies.
