Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts alongside Atlantic Coast Hospitality announced the opening in 2023 of the next Four Seasons Hotel Rabat in Kasr Al Bahr.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a leader in luxury hotels, enrolled in a joint project with Atlantic Coast Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development company Q Holding, to open the fourth Four Seasons Hotel in Morocco.
The new hotel establishment will be established within the royal summer palace, built in the 19th century, and which had been transformed into a military hospital during the protectorate under the name of the nurse Marie Feuillet. However, the hospital was closed in 1999.
Located on the seafront, the complex is considered today as the only building in the neo-Moorish style overlooking the ocean. The place was left in a state of disrepair for many years.
The luxury hotel will have 211 rooms and suites in different wings spanning five hectares. It will feature seven restaurants and cafes, a spa with treatment rooms and an indoor pool, several resort-style outdoor pools, and extensive conference and event spaces.
Architect Karim Chakor, reputed to be close to the monarch, drew up the plans. As for the interior design, it was entrusted to Roger Nazarian Architects & Associates. As for the site, the responsibility falls under the Moroccan company specializing in construction, TGCC.
It is also Gregory Viaud who will manage the new establishment, drawing on his 19 years of experience in Four Seasons establishments around the world.
The project, led by the local development company Rabat Aménagement, is part of the program for the rehabilitation and development of the maritime facade of the capital of the kingdom.
The Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr will join the growing collection of Four Seasons properties in Morocco, including the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech, Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca and Four Seasons Private Residences Marrakech at M Avenue.
