Arab world reacts to Morocco's national team success

Morocco sealed a place for the semi-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, inspiring their historic and geographic relatives to support the success of their “Flag-Bearer”.

Moroccan and Arab artists rushed to react on social media platforms, who shared the atmosphere of overwhelming joy, after Morocco qualified for the 2022 Qatar World Cup semi-finals, as the first Arab-African country to do so.

Among the celebrities who were keen to congratulate the Moroccans was the Egyptian star Ahlam Al Shamsi, who said that Morocco deserves to achieve victory and enter history, and Morocco blessed all Arabs with this joy.

For his part, Lebanese star Saad Ramadan expressed his great pride in the Moroccan national team. He added that the impossible is not Moroccan, wishing them to win the World Cup.

In turn, the Syrian star Faia Younan congratulated the “Atlas Lions”, noting that they gave hope to all Arabs. She added, “How beautiful you are. Congratulations to Morocco and its national team, we are all so happy.”

Moroccan actress Hind Ziadi also expressed her great joy at the victory achieved by the national team, expressing her sincere thanks to the players and the national head coach, Walid Rekragui.

Journalist Rashid Al-Alali shared his joy with Moroccans from the heart of the Qatari lands, describing Morocco as the pride of the world, and added that his feeling is indescribable.

Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan said: “Congratulations to the Moroccan national team, the first Arab-African team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.

For his part, the Moroccan artist Zouhair Bahaoui said from the heart of the “Al-Thumama” stadium, which witnessed the match between Morocco and Portugal, “God, O Maulana, be happy.. God be upon Morocco.. God be upon you, my country.. Write, O, the history of the Moroccan national team, in the golden square.”

While the Colombian star, Shakira, said in a tweet via “Twitter”: “It is time for Africa,” in relation to the most famous World Cup songs for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Moroccan artist Farah El Fassi also expressed her joy, and thanked “God for living these moments.” She also praised the national team, noting that it raised the heads of Moroccans high.

The Jordanian media, Ola Al-Faris, said: “Oh, history writer, please do not close the pages. Congratulations to the Arabs, congratulations to Morocco.”

Moroccan star Hatem Amour also expressed his great happiness, saying that Morocco wrote a new history thanks to the “Atlas Lions”.
