Ecuador’s ministry of education announced that it will allow studies to be suspended to watch the country’s national squad’s games at the Qatar World Cup.
The ministry said on Thursday that studies can be suspended during the team’s games, provided that the school day resumes immediately after the match is over.
The announcement comes ahead of Ecuador’s game this Friday, where the team will be facing the Netherlands.
