Anass Zaroury is expected to receive a late call-up to the Moroccan World Cup squad to replace Amine Harit who suffered a knee injury in his last game with his team Olympic Marseille, according to Hesport sources.
The 22-year-old Burnley winger, who has shown great performances with his club this season, is waiting for FIFA’s approval to join the Atlas Lions in Qatar.
This will actually be the first time that Zaroury has been called up to the Moroccan national team, as he has previously represented Belgian at various youth levels.
