This “different” film according to great names in Moroccan film critics, is creative in terms of theme and cinematographic treatment. It represents the courage and creativity of the filmmaker Driss Mrini; he indeed managed to tackle topical issues.

Driss Mrini did by approaching a subject almost absent, until now, in the repertoire of Moroccan cinema, he was also able to break with the inability of national cinema to address sensitive and hot topics.

“Jabal Moussa” is an interesting new step; not only in Driss Mrini’s repertoire, but it is also a new move in Moroccan cinema and film making. It is so as it demonstrates a path for more creativity, credibility and efficiency to approach reality.
