The pandemic and ongoing inflation have hurt the growing car industry in Morocco, but production is well on its way, with car exports in Morocco experiencing a boom.
Especially for electric cars, investments are increasing, as the current energy crisis linked to the Russia-Ukraine conflict should further contribute to the acceleration of the energy transition and make way for more supply and demand of electric and hybrid vehicles.
However, the industrial production of electric vehicles is still in its infancy on the continent.
