Paraguay’s coach Barros Schelotto praised the Moroccan national team’s performance after the end of the friendly game Tuesday evening.

Schelotto said that the Atlas Lions have good potential for the World Cup.

The upcoming sporting event is set to kick off on November 20, with Morocco coming out in Group F countries, alongside Croatia, Belgium, and Canada.

The Paraguayan coach said during a press conference he held after the game that “the national team played a good game and no one can deny the abilities of their players. But I think we were able to identify them.”

“The Atlas Lions can very well go beyond the group stage of the World Cup. I think they have what it takes to qualify for the second round. They have excellent players in the offensive line,” he added.

Morocco and Paraguay tied (0-0) yesterday evening in the last friendly game Morocco played before the World Cup.

Last Friday, the Atlas Lions won the friendly game against Chili with a score of 2 to 0.
