Lebanese artist George Al Rassi passed away this morning at the age of 39 in a horrible accident in Lebanon.
The artist was returning to Lebanon after performing at a concert in Damascus when his car collided with the central barrier of the international road separating the Lebanese-Syrian border.
George Al Rassi was accompanied by a woman sitting next to him when the accident occured. Lebanese media confirmed that she passed away too.
The bodies of the Lebanese artist and the woman accompanying him were pulled from the car and taken to Taanayel General Hospital, according to the statements of the Lebanese Civil Defense.
The pictures taken by the Civil Defense showed that the car of the young artist was severely damaged by the collision with the concrete barrier at the border point of Masnaa in El Bekaa.
