Moroccan athletes won two gold and two bronze medals on the last day of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, taking place in Konya, Turkey.
Abdellatif Sadiki won the gold medal in 1500m with a time of 3min 54sec 51/100, while the national team participating in the 4×400 m men’s relay snatched the gold with a time of 3min 03sec 76/100.
In total, Morocco has earned 14 medals at the end of the athletics events of the Islamic Solidarity Games: 4 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.
