Security forces in Tangier-Med port thwarted an international smuggling operation consisting of 8,860 units of rapid Covid-19 tests.
The tests were being brought in on a foreign car arriving on a cruise from a European port.
The 44-year-old Moroccan driver of the vehicle was subjected to a judicial investigation by the judicial police force in the Tangier-Med port security area under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, in order to determine the extensions of the crime and arrest all those allegedly involved.
