The Confederation of African Football’s executive committee said Egypt will host the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, announced CAF in a recent press release.
CAF received two bids from Egypt and Morocco for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2024, added the press release.
The Executive Committee resolved to award Egypt the rights to host the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2024, said the same source.
A source from within the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), who wanted to remain anonymous told Hesport in a statement that Morocco ceded to the Arab Republic of Egypt to host the sporting event.
According to the same source, Morocco decided to give up on its bid, and help support Egypt with the organization of the 2024 edition.
