Morocco will participate in the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games, set to take place from June 25 to July 6 in Oran, Algeria.
Morocco’s athletic delegation accounts for 130 athletes, which includes 86 men and 44 women, alongside 48 supervisors, who will compete in 15 sports.
The Moroccan flag will be represented in athletics, boxing, cycling, fencing, soccer, weightlifting, judo, karate, wrestling, bowls, equestrian sports, taekwondo, tennis, and shooting sports, said the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) in a statement.
The members of the Moroccan delegation have been registered for the Mediterranean Games through the list of athletes and technical, administrative, and medical staff proposed by the national sports federations, added the same source.
The CNOM is organizing information sessions for all participants on June 7, 15, and 16, in order to give further details on the arrangements planned for the athletes, as well as the organizational guidelines to follow.
