Adidas is launching the “Run for the Oceans” movement, aiming to end plastic waste through running, as World Oceans Day is set to take place on June 8.

Adidas also launched its application Adidas Running to motivate athletes to practice their favorite sport, in a move to save the oceans.

Additionally, for every 10 minutes of running recorded between May 23 and June 8 on the app, Adidas and its partner “Parley for the oceans” will clean up plastic waste on beaches and coastlines, up to a maximum of 250,000 kilograms.

In Morocco, Adidas is organizing a run on Saturday, June 4, in Casablanca to promote the movement and encourage Moroccan runners to join.
