European Council President Charles Michel on Wednesday offered Europe’s support to Moldova during a visit to the country bordering Ukraine that has seen a string of attacks in a Moscow-backed separatist region.
“The EU stands in full solidarity with you, with Moldova, it is our European duty to help and to support your country,” Michel said during a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
