Over 100,000 project applications, in various sectors of activity and from all regions of the Kingdom, have already been submitted on the digital platform dedicated to the Forsa program.

“Barely two weeks after its official launch, the Forsa program has become very popular with thousands of young Moroccan entrepreneurs. More than 100,000 project applications, in different sectors of activity and from all regions of the Kingdom, have already been submitted on the digital platform www.forsa.ma”, says a statement from the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social Economy.

The distribution of projects submitted by applicants is “perfectly in line with the distribution of the population, which shows the interest of the program for all Moroccans, regardless of their origin,” said the same source.

By region, Casablanca-Settat monopolizes 20% of projects submitted, followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (13%), Fez-Meknes (12%), Marrakech-Safi (12%), Tangier-Tetouan (10%), Souss-Massa (9%), Oriental (7%), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (6%), Drâa-Tafilalet (5%), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (3%), Guelmim-Oued Noun (2%) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1%)

The projects submitted on the platform will be reviewed in the coming days by experts. They will assess, on the one hand, the level of commitment of the applicant; on the other hand, the feasibility of the project and its development potential for the region, said the statement.

The 10,000 selected candidates will then be invited for an interview with an expert in their region.

At the end of this stage, their files will be evaluated by a regional commission that will ratify the selected applications.

Candidates will benefit from e-learning training with targeted modules allowing them to build their project in a rigorous way.

The most promising projects will benefit from support operated by carefully selected incubators by region for two and a half months, until the effective realization of their projects.

Following the training or incubation, as the case may be, the winners will be able to benefit, if they wish, from financing in the form of a 0% interest honorary loan of up to MAD 100,000, including a subsidy of MAD 10,000 for all the selected projects.

This financing will have to be repaid over a maximum period of ten years, with a deferment of two years.

Project leaders can submit their applications directly online via the dedicated digital platform, or request assistance from the Forsa Desks opened for this purpose in the 12 regions.

A customer relations center (5544) is also available to project leaders. Its role is to guide them throughout the process, whether they are requesting information, applying via the platform or making appointments for interviews.

Announced by the government on March 11, this ambitious program has a budget of 1.25 billion DH for the year 2022 alone.

A budget that will support project leaders from the ideation phase to the actual implementation of their projects by the end of 2022.
