Enrolled students in the 4-year bachelor’s program were transferred to other degrees, after the cancelation of the Anglo-Saxon program, said the government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas on Thursday.
In fact, Morocco canceled the bachelor’s reform because of the lack of a legal framework authorizing it, and a pedagogical system, said Baitas during the Government Council’s weekly meeting.
The action plan of the current Higher Education Ministry has a vision and a strategy that are different from the previous Ministry’s plan, added the government spokesperson.
Additionally, Baitas previously stated that “the Supreme Education Council noticed that the 4-year program has flaws and must be reconsidered.”
At the start of this academic year, several students were enrolled in bachelor’s programs at Moroccan universities, in hopes to benefit from better opportunities globally.
