Hayya Card, a special fan ID card, will be your gateway to attend the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup, instead of a visa.

Moroccans seeking to travel to Qatar have to register for the Hayya Card, which will act as their entry permit to the Gulf country.

“At the request of Qatari authorities, Hayya Card is your entry permit to the State of Qatar and your stadium access,” FIFA said on Tuesday.

The card offers a number of advantages, such as free public transportation in the games’ hosting cities, Qatari authorities said.

The same source further noted that after “booking both their match tickets and accommodations is a must” before landing in the Gulf country.

The Hayya Card would eventually be the only entry permit to Qatar for football fans, and “those who do not have it will not be allowed to travel,” Qatari authorities highlighted.

More than 800,000 tickets have been sold in the first tickets sales phase between January 19 and February 8. Fans living in Qatar, the USA, the UK, Mexico, and the UAE were the top five buyers, according to FIFA’s data.

Morocco came out with Group F, alongside Belgium, Canada, and Croatia, announced FIFA last week. The upcoming FIFA games are set to take place later this year November/ December.
