The General Directorate for National Security arrested Monday three people suspected of being involved in a case related to international drug trafficking in the city of Guelmim in the Southern region of Morocco.
The authorities seized two tons and 313 kilograms of the drug Chira, a hunting rifle without a license, and a set of cartridges.
On Sunday, authorities also seized at the Guergarate border a ton and 273 kilograms of hashish on board an international transport truck heading towards an unknown African country.
