The national team arrived late on Tuesday to DR Congo’s capital Kinshasa, alongside the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation Faouzi Lekjaa.
According to a Hesport journalist who was present on the ground, Moroccan players arrived at the airport in an enthusiastic atmosphere, and about 200 Congolese football fans gathered, carrying their country’s flag.
One of the most luxurious hotels in the Gombe area, located in the center of the Congolese capital was preparing to receive the national team.
Hesport said the hotel offers good conditions, pointing out the 6th and 7th floors were reserved for the team members.
Morocco’s first game against DR Congo is set to take place this Friday at Kinshasa’s Martyrs Stadium, starting at 4 p.m.
