Morocco’s flagship carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has reportedly canceled all flights to Russia, according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), quoted by the Russian news agency (TASS).
“The insurance company has just put a ban on flights to Russia, and all flights are canceled,” the association quotes the airline’s representative in its Telegram channel, said the same source.
The dates of flights cancellation have not been specified.
RAM did not respond to Hespress calls for comments. the company’s website, however, shows that flights to Russia are unavailable from March 15 to 19.
A number of airlines announced suspending passenger flights to Russia, following the ongoing offensive in Ukraine.
Russian Airlines, Aeroflot reported that the company is working with passengers of canceled international flights, offering re-booking on alternative routes with other airlines.
