Morocco records 55 Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Morocco recorded 55 Covid-19 cases on Friday, raising the total of cases since the beginning of the outbreak to 1 161 925.

The kingdom has also reported 1 Covid related death in the past 24 hours.

As of Friday, the ministry of health reported a total of 16 034 people who died from Covid-19.

Morocco continues to bid on its national vaccination campaign, in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the ministry’s latest tally, 24 767 107 people received their first Covid-19 vaccine shot, while 23 227 898 were fully inoculated.

Morocco has also administered a total of 5 949 078 booster shots, as of  Friday.
