The government on Tuesday announced several conditions on passengers arriving in the country after allowing borders to reopen on February 7.

See the conditions below:

-Carrying out rapid tests for passengers as soon as they arrive at the Kingdom’s airports.

-Performing random PCR tests for groups of travelers upon arrival. These travelers will be informed of the results later. In this regard, all the equipment and human, health, security, and administrative resources necessary for the success of these operations will be put in place.

-The possibility of carrying out an additional test at the hotel or at the residence center for tourists, 48 hours following their entry into the national territory.

-The implementation of special measures for positive cases:

*The obligation for normal positive cases is to observe health lockdown in the places of their residences while being carefully monitored.

*The transfer of difficult and critical positive cases to hospitals to receive the necessary health care.

Recently, the government announced on January 27 the decision to reopen Morocco’s borders starting February 7, following the national anti-Covid-19 committee’s recommendation to reopen air borders “as soon as possible.”
