Isabel Peralta, a prominent member of the Spanish neo-fascist group Bastion Frontal, is facing charges for hate speech and inciting violence against Moroccan and Muslim immigrants.
The Spanish Public Prosecutor’s Office is pursuing the Falangist, following her public protest reading at a demonstration in front of the Moroccan Embassy of a manifesto “with which she exhorts to violence and hostility towards Moroccan and Muslim migrants,” reports Spanish outlet, El Periodico.
The Prosecutor’s Office explains the manifesto “was used to urge violence and hostility against Moroccan and Muslim migrants, linking immigration to racial and cultural impersonation.”
The protest took place back on May 18, as Peralta was already prosecuted back in February by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for an anti-Semitic speech.
The anti-Semitic case was dismissed by the High Court, prompting Peralta to attend the unauthorized demonstration under the slogan “stop the invasion, terrorist Morocco,” against the backdrop of a historic diplomatic crisis between Rabat and Madrid.
Peralta, a member of the Spanish neo-fascist group Bastion Frontal, told journalists that Spain “is undergoing an unprecedented racial displacement. The massive arrival of immigrants who end our polyphony, who end our culture, who end our moral identity and who end what Spain and Europe have become.”
She is accustomed to making comments about a “great replacement.” Having received a 10-month “scholarship” to learn “propaganda and combat techniques” at the neo-Nazi group Der III Weg (the Third Way) in Dusseldorf, she is one of the most prominent faces of European far-right ideology movements.
