ADNOC Pro League’s Twitter page announced as well Serhiy Rebrov of Al Ain as the best coach for September awards, and Ali Khasif of Al Jazira club as best goalkeeper for the same month’s award.
Rahimi’s award came after he has shown great performance and contribution to his team’s achievement of a set of victories; making him place at the top of the league standings.
The Moroccan player has participated in four matches in the past month, during which he scored two goals and three assists, making him one of the most effective players within his club.
Rahimi is currently part of the national team for the qualifiers of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which defeated Guinea Bissau two times, and continues to lead the playoffs’ Group I with 9 points, ahead of Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, and Sudan.
The national team is preparing to face Guinea on October 12, after it was delayed, taking place at 8 p.m.
Rahimi is a good player and striker. His level would have been better had he played in Europe.
