Princess Lalla Malika, aunt of King Mohammed VI passed away on Tuesday, according a statement by the Ministry of Royal Palaces.
A statement from the ministry stated that “on this painful occasion, all components of the Moroccan people extend their deepest condolences and sincerest condolences to His Majesty the King, and to all members of the honorable royal family in this great loss.”
The same statement added that her burial ceremony will “take place in a private family framework, with a very limited attendance,” due to Covid-19 restrictions.
