Moroccan champion Saida Amoudi won the bronze medal in the shot put competition for the F34 category, at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, currently ongoing until September 5th.

Amoudi recorded a performance of 8.21m, bringing Morocco third place in the games.

The gold medal went to the Chinese Lijuan Zou with 9.19m (world record), while the silver went to the Polish Lucyna Kornobys (8.60m).

Sports newspaper Al Aalam Arriadi nominated her as the female athlete of 2021.
